Prix de la Grotte Review
"As fillies trials go, this looks to be one of the better ones and she must now rank amongst the favourites for the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches".

Prix Djebel - Afandy
I am in no doubt that he should be capable of developing into a Group 1 performer later in the season based on the evidence that we have from this performance.

French Recruits in the Triumph Hurdle
"It would be a mistake to write him off as a fluke just because of his SP, but how this run translates to open company against older horses is impossible to predict at this stage".

Prixdelahorse Tracker - Serenissimus
"As older horse maidens go, this wasn’t the worst by any means and the only horse to take out of it would be Serenissimus".

Prix Altipan - Silius
"I don’t think the performance of Silius should be underestimated and if there is a horse in this year’s Prix Altipan that is capable of making his mark at a higher level, it is him".

Flat Recruits - Salam Dubawi
"He’s worthy of note and should be more than capable of winning races for his new connections as a 4-year-old'.

Prixdelahorse Tracker - Mister Banker
Watching all of the Racing in the French provinces can be an arduous task, but when you spot horses with potential like Mister Banker, it makes it worthwhile.

Callisto du Nord
Callisto du Nord has been quietly going about his business and he has now made such a significant step forwards, that there is every chance he will develop into one of the best 4-year-olds in France.

Prix Solow - Silius
As 4-year-olds go, he is one of the more exciting prospects running at this time of the year...

PRIX ACE IMPACT
This race has a serious pedigree. The last 3 renewals have all been won by Jean-Claude Rouget with Ace Impact (2023), Arrow Eagle (2024) and Leffard (2025) who all went on to win in Group 1 company. Here's my review of the 2026 renewal.

Monday 13th January - Afandy
Jean-Claude Rouget is no stranger to the Cagnes-Sur-Mer winner’s enclosure, but he won’t have had too many winners here that were as comfortable as AFANDY.

Prix La Rochette Preview
In a year’s time, he will be the best of these and whilst there are obvious risks attached in such a small field, he looks the type to cope with a tactical race and were he to win this, he would have to go on the shortlist for the Jean-Luc Lagardere.

Prix de Ranville - "Gold Tweet"
Given how well he closed in the straight, chasing home a winner who sets a fair standard when getting his own way in front, he is a horse to note.

Criterium du Bequet - Wor Faayth
“Wor Faayth makes the 900-mile journey worth it for the Ellison yard”

Chantilly 2YO Maidens - 20th July
A review of the 2-year-old debutantes races at Chantilly on Sunday, where both winners made striking impressions.
