I must apologize for the delay in publishing these results from Sha Tin on Sunday, as well as the fact that the ratings piece below is relatively brief. Working Freelance has lots of benefits, but being a one person team does limit the amount of work that can be completed at any one time. So, with other commitments at present (it is Arc week after all), this is a brief summary of Sundays results at Sha Tin.
As you can see, I have briefly summarized the ratings and times for the winners of the 10-races. It is hard to get overly enthused by the majority of this form. The 7-year-old Healthy Happy landed the Group 3 feature, the Celebration Cup, but I can't help but feel that the small field played to hs strengths and he got a clever ride on the front end at a steady pace. The speed ratings support that theory and Alexis Badel can be very proud of this ride as he got his fractions spot on to land a big pit with the veteran.
Yellowfin was the only winner to dip below the standard time, but perhaps the more impressive performance came from Green N White, who defied a big weight to hold off the closers under a very good Zac Purton ride. His rating of 91.6 is the highest of the weekend he has now won his last 2 starts at Sha Tin either side of the summer break. He remains lightly raced and is likely to remain competitive even when he goes up in class after this.
